Aselsan Innovation Center

OSO Architecture provided innovation center interior design project for Aselsan and it is located in Istanbul Kurtköy, spanning a total area of 5,000 m². Of this, 3,500 m² is dedicated to office spaces, social areas, and management services, created to support and encourage young, recent graduate entrepreneurs. On a different floor, a 1,500 m² production and workshop area is used for preparing the first prototypes of new projects and ideas.
The space is primarily designed for a user profile consisting of creative and dynamic young individuals pursuing new ideas. Therefore, the design of the space has been shaped to meet the demands and expectations of this user profile, making this the main design criterion. In line with this, the aim was to create an office environment that encourages a creative thinking system, distinct from the traditional office work model. Social areas supporting office life were integrated into the workspace, and enriched with various activities. This approach has resulted in the creation of a modern and contemporary hybrid work environment that promotes activity and movement within the office, aligning with new-generation workspaces.
